Chasing the Wizard

So, because nobody told me I shouldn't, I made this pitch for a script I wrote and sent it to the pitch contest at the Austin Television Festival this year. The art was a quick comp rendering I did in Photoshop. I'm also thinking about writing this concept as a YA novel. Whaddya think?

Spent the entire day yesterday holed-up in the studio. Just havin' one of those depressed kinda days where I didn't want to have to see other people, so I made some headway on 3 different projects. I drew the Pirate player as a sample for a client, then worked on my Dorothy story illustration and finally got some paint on the tandem portrait for some friends in California. It felt good to see something accomplished.
