When I paint I nearly always wind up listening to Tom Waits.  In fact, right now all 5 CDs in the player are Tom Waits.  This painting, and probably the next one, are inspired by the lyrics from his song First Kiss from the Orphans collection.  It's on the Bastards CD.  I have to thank Dee Dee for the sepia idea.  It gives the painting a nice Grapes of Wrath look.  Cool.  It's 9x12 on masonite.
