Thanks to the TV writers' strike I wound up painting until 9:30 last night. Sounds late, but I was busy with commercial work until 7:00. In my reference photo Tessa is wearing a white dress, but I decided to switch it to black to work with the rest of the painting and, wow, did it change the entire look of everything I've done so far.
